Ack ACK ACK #2 almost complete.

I'll announce the complete line-up for this issue in a week or so. But I should have everything placed tonight, and will spend the next few days getting all the little details worked out, then it's complete.

For now, here's some more Tear It Up pictures that didn't make the cut.

Would you believe the Ack Ack Ack #3 is starting to get planned out?

Two posts in one week!!

Okay, I just finished selecting the last couple bands to fill the remaining pages of the second issue of Ack Ack Ack. One of those bands is Tear It Up. I've posted a photo that didn't make the cut. This photo was from what turned out to be their final tour in 2002. Of all the Y2K thrash bands, Tear It Up is the one that has aged quite well. Never whacky, no hollow poses. I guess you could say they were the real deal.
All that is left for this issue is laying out the covers, printing the covers (another screen printed job), writing an intro and some minor details and it should be out.
I'm thinking of printing somewhere between 50 to 100 copies.
Keep checking back periodically for updates.

after well over a year....

Alright, I should have put out the second issue of Ack Ack Ack last year. Obviously, it didn't happen. No real reason why. I'm more into hitting the skatepark than being productive on any level it seems lately. I'm working to change that though. Spent the past couple months scanning the negatives from the 2000 European tour for the Oath. I'll start sorting through all the photos soon and hopefully have something to show for it all sometime in the summer.
As for Ack Ack Ack #2.... working on the cover lately, and I have a few more pages to fill. In time, in time. Maybe I'll have it finished in a couple weeks. It's just choosing the bands to put in there.
I do know Born Dead Icons are going to be in it. I've included a color shot I took of them at their first show in Los Angeles back in 2002. They were a great band, nice bunch of guys, and to this day I'm glad I had the opportunity to see them live. Alright, more sooner than later...
