Ack ACK ACK #2 almost complete.

I'll announce the complete line-up for this issue in a week or so. But I should have everything placed tonight, and will spend the next few days getting all the little details worked out, then it's complete.

For now, here's some more Tear It Up pictures that didn't make the cut.

Would you believe the Ack Ack Ack #3 is starting to get planned out?

Two posts in one week!!

Okay, I just finished selecting the last couple bands to fill the remaining pages of the second issue of Ack Ack Ack. One of those bands is Tear It Up. I've posted a photo that didn't make the cut. This photo was from what turned out to be their final tour in 2002. Of all the Y2K thrash bands, Tear It Up is the one that has aged quite well. Never whacky, no hollow poses. I guess you could say they were the real deal.
All that is left for this issue is laying out the covers, printing the covers (another screen printed job), writing an intro and some minor details and it should be out.
I'm thinking of printing somewhere between 50 to 100 copies.
Keep checking back periodically for updates.

ACK ACK ACK #2 in the works. Really!

After much hemming and hawing, and talking about it and talking about it, the second issue of Ack Ack Ack is in the works. In fact, in 2009 I intend to put out about four new issues. Why the hell not?!? I have over ten years of material sitting in negative sleeves on the top shelf in my work space closet. So get ready. For now, here are three shots of Cut The Shit that are NOT going to be in the new issue. The only reason is space is limited. Other than that... Enjoy and keep checking back for updates and more peaks of shots that didn't make the final cut in the upcoming issue.

These three shots were from their last show at the Smell in 2004.
